Have you heard of the German Pickle tradition? Well here's the PNW version. The concept is to hide a glass pickle (a slug in our case) somewhere on your tree. Whoever finds the ornament first gets to open the first present! You can also keep your ornament up all year round because they can rest on a flat surface.
Not only is your sculpture adorable but you can feel good knowing it was ethically sculptured by hand, without molds or cutters. So, no two sculptures are ever the same. Meaning they'll be entirely unique to you!
